I was so fortunate to have my mother make my wedding dress! It was absolutely beautiful and made just for me! It was my mother's gift to me and it meant so much! I hope to be able to pass it on to my daughter .... but hopefully not for a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY long time! (:

If you have someone to make your wedding dress for you I recommend ... don't have it made too early!!! Every woman responds to the stress or excitement of wedding planning differently and it is all too common to either lose or gain weight in the months before the wedding! Remember, slightly larger is way easier to fix than slightly too small!
